New year's resolutions are long gone.. so here come Birthday resolutions!
My new year's resolutions are long forgotten.. seriously.. I can't remember what they are anymore!! So I am going to make a new set of resolutions for my birthday.. And of course, since this is a weight loss blog, one of them is going to be losing weight. Not even so much losing weight as feeling better about myself. That is the over arching theme of all my resolutions always.
I was looking back at my previous posts and I found out that I have gained 15 pounds since I started this blog. That is about the crappiest thing EVER!! (well I guess gaining 20 would be worse...) I am getting married in September, and if people staring at me in a giant white dress all day doesn't motivate me to look better, what in the hell ever will?? I feel like I need a motivational speaker.. or drill sergeant... to tell me to get off my backside and do something physical!! My goodness!! I want to look good and feel good. That is obviously not going to happen if I just sit around and eat brownies!!!! Argh!
So.. due to the above, I am making new resolutions.. birthday resolutions. I just had my 26th birthday on the 14th. I am going to focus on one goal at a time. In the past I have tried so hard to change so many things at once that I end up failing at everything. This time around I am going to focus on one thing at a time. This one thing to begin with is going to be writing down everything I eat. That is my goal for the rest of April. From there, I can add on things to do, but I am going to keep it simple and watch what I put into my body. After I see what I have been putting into my body, I can make better decisions about what I should eat!
One step at a time!
